Fully-Licensed Since 2001


As a Cayman licensed fund administrator, our company is regulated by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA) and is subject to periodic inspections and a best practice regulatory framework. Solely US-based fund administrators are neither subject to licensing requirements nor a regulated environment. 

Audited Processes

TFA undergoes an annual process audit. The Statement of Standards of Attestation Engagements (SSAE18) is the authoritative guidance for reporting on the controls of a service organization. The report requires an audit firm to provide an independent assessment of TFA's internal procedures and controls. Our SOC 1 (Service Organization Controls Report) Type 2 audit provides our clients with continued reassurance that rigorous and reliable controls are in place and operational.

Proprietary Technology

TFA uses its own web-based proprietary software, designed in-house, which automates business functions and fund administration functions and integrates with our proprietary Investor Reporting Portal.

The use of a proprietary software provides the advantage of a controlled operational and data storage process with specific job-based permission and audit trails for the logins of each of our employees and additionally provides flexibility for customization. Learn more.
